Mysteriously removed. Ford390gashog got blindsided with that after he already made a considerable investment in equipment for a planned fleet order. I don’t believe that Ford has made any statement about it.
Absolutely no word other than a revised Powerstroke will be available in 2020 with late availability. Even worse is now I have a brand new 2020 Ram1500 ecodiesel sitting here in the shop torn apart trying to figure out how to put the custom utility beds we had made for the Ford F150 on it. The rear suspension takes up all my room.....
Sometimes their build site gets flaky. Happened to me, wouldn't work correct for a couple days. Call the Dealer and ask for the Sales manager. He'll zip through a build and tell you for sure.

No need it's on the front page of the 2020 order guide. It wasn't there in October when I ordered.

Not sure if this bodes well for me. Will my 3.0L become a taboo dinosaur, or the diamond in the rough? There is something in me that would love to see if I can get 300k out of it, but darn it if Ford won’t boost the power to compete, raise the mileage, and rope me in. I guess this 3.0L is tried and true after running in Europe for years (despite the egr and dpf). If the next gen gets fubar’d like the latest gen 5.0L, I’m out. Really, so many THINK they know about diesels and rope this little gem into the same category. It’s NOT your daddy’s diesel. Just this week I talked with a guy at the pump filling his EcoDiesel. I think he was pretty impressed with the Powerstroke, and had no idea it existed in the F-150. (Insert grin here). Hearing his mpg’s, he wasn’t even clearing my numbers, and not too happy it was a Fiat stepchild. I think if ford really marketed these 3.0L’s it would increase sales. Regardless, I do love mine. I hope Ford knocks it out of the park.

It’ll take more than marketing. I’ve only seen one up close and personal myself and it was a contractor foreman’s SCrew Lariat 3.0. I’m just not sure what slot it fills. The 2.7 Eco pulls plenty well for those on a budget and it doesn’t make for an economical purchase being offered at higher trims levels only. It definitely doesn’t outpolled or outpayload a properly equipped 3.5 model. Don’t need DEF for the Ecos, either.
It it reminds me of days passed of Honda offering the Accord hybrid as a loaded up 3.0 v6 only. I guess they forgot the four cylinder econo crowd matters, too.

Like I’ve said, it’s ignorance. Moreover, old diesel mentality thinking on mosts parts. Is that a word? I agree it’s not for all, but anyone who does high mileage and doesn’t need 2,000 pounds of payload, could easily find benefits.
Most don’t know that several service intervals exceed that of the EcoBoost or gassers, and the first major service is at 150k where the EcoBoost is 100k. I experience at least 8 mpg better in the warm weather, and at least 6 in winter than my 2016 3.5L or 2018 5.0L. In the winter, I see an average of $0.20 per gallon more for smoke juice, which still leaves me in the positive. No, I’m not saving enough to buy a new 911, but it is a blast to drive, and so far, it just pulls like a beast. I towed a trailer back from up north with three quads in front of my Dad last fall. His 2011 6.7L is tweaked and pulls 19-20 mpg consistently. He netted 19 coming home empty. I pulled 21mpg dragging just under 5k. Hand calculated. Going north to get the trailer was almost 27mpg. There’s no EcoBoost that will do that, but I’m not chest pounding the 3.0L. It’s not a game changer unless you find the ways to make it work for YOU. I loved my 3.5L, and if the 3.0L isn’t improved next go round, or I just want to be first to the next light, I’ll go EcoBoost.
The recent Car and Driver magazine tested the Bid 3 half ton diesels, and didn't have anything good to say about the F150, and having driven one, it was very underwhelming, so I doubt they sell many anyway. Ford needs to put the new 7.3 in the F150!
There’s quite a shakeup going on at the Ford HQ right now. Expect more strange things to happen before the dust settles.
I don't doubt that at all.
After destroying the good name of the Mustang, which had a long and prestigious record, heads better roll. I was a hardcore blue oval guy for a long time...but now I look at where ford has gone and feel disappointment!
I grew up a GM guy because my Dad was a GM guy. This is my first Ford. Well, to be precise, it's my second. My first Ford was a 1964 Falcon that I paid $150 for out of high school. Wasn't a bad car. All I can say is I'm glad I bought what I bought when I bought it. This 2015 F150 has been about the best vehicle I've ever owned. So, I don't bleed Ford blue but I do hope they get their S**T together soon.

With the exception of the Mustang II........... I had a "Distributive Education" class in high school in which we made a commercial for that POS........ As far as I know, the Corvette is the only car that has never had a lapse in manufacturing since its conception. .

Depends on how you define a lapse. There was no 1983 model year Corvette.
