Yes, that is correct. It's been my understanding there were quite a few of these combinations built in production. Yet I keep getting questioned by people like they were unaware this was even done at all.

All E series cutaways come with a 6R140 transmission behind all engine combinations. Not uncommon or rare by any means.
OK, my mistake. I didn't capture that we were talking about an E Series truck.
No worries, as for the person asking about a dipstick tube I doubt the Superduty 6R140 tube would fit appropriately without modification in an E series engine bay.

My engine/trans did in fact come from an E series van, however I'm swapping it into my '79 SuperCab, so I don't want nor do I need, that silly long dipstick. This is why I'm searching for better info on the Superduty truck's dipstick, as I assume it's much shorter, would look more appropriate, and be functional. Been trying to find some part numbers for the tube and the stick, but haven't had any luck yet.

Id find one in a junkyard from any 2011-2016 Superduty 6.2L, 6.8L, or 6.7L. The dipsticks will be different between engines so you will have a few options to choose from. If that fails you can get the VIN from any model Superduty that has the 6R140 and go to Tasca parts website and the VIN will bring up all related parts to the truck including your dipstick part numbers.
