I have dealt with 2 jasper warranties in my shop, I was not the original installer.
first was a dodge engine, head gasket failure, engine hydro locked after sitting overnight. jasper replaced including all fluids, consumables and labor. no cost to customer.
the other 676was a dodge cummins transmission, oil cooler failed and put coolant in transmission. Jasper warrantied transmission, but not labor or consumables as it wasn't their product that failed, but they still replaced it for free, including shipping both ways.
I would say these two things would help me decide to get a Jasper without question if I was in the pitch.
@oldbird1965 could shed some light on the subject as well
Local shop loves Jasper and has done quite a few 7.3's with them. If one happened to blow during the warranty, Jasper covered labor (do not remember all or a percentage). One comment about the waranty though, last I checked it was only 12 months / 12K miles for diesels.
I was on the side of the road with a hole in piston eight. No Ford reman’s available so went with a Jasper and you can see what I pull around the country. 15K on it now and running good with all my goodies on it. Oil tests come back good, don’t worry!
