I’m not sure how it works. But it does seem to work. I pulled a few stumps out this weekend. Spun all 4 tires. I have had trucks in the past that would only spin one tire front and rear doing the same thing
Both rear tires should spin everytime the rear locker is engaged. Ive heard the front lsd on the Tremor being compared to what the Raptor has (Torsen).
If Ford's front LSD is anything like the Trac-Lok 8.8 in my GT500, it will slip when it needs to. I cant tell you how many times Ive launched HARD on no-prep (with suspension mods of course). Never ever did it just roast one tire and Ive also never had it hop or buck making turns meaning its slipping when it needs to. Id wager that the clutch packs arent sprung tight in the Tremor like they are in my GT500.
Of course, if y'all are serious about off-roading these Super Duties, an F250 with the Sterling 10.5 and front Dana 60 running OX lockers would be the way to do it.
I'm still waiting for someone to open it up and take a picture of the carrier...that will certainly squash any doubt about what exactly is in the front differential.

tfl had a video long time ago that said it was a clutch type ,per a ford rep. its not 100% but it might as well be 99.99%. add to that the use of friction modifier and you can call it 99.9999%. what more proof do you need

Thats funny, thats (TFL) who just recently said it was a Torsen like the Raptor. It sounds like they forgot their own facts haha.

I don't like Detroits up front on a true off-road trail rig. I've been in situations where they don't release, drastically reducing maneuverability in tight situations. Selectable would be my choice for a serious off road-rig. I don't see a Super Duty ever being a serious off road trail rig or rock crawler, but still wouldn't want a Detroit up front The LSD on the Tremor and Raptor makes sense for their intended use, although a selectable on the Tremor wouldn't have been bad.

I like an auto locker like a Detroit or even a lunchbox locker in the front, selectable lockers make it hard to turn when locked, my Jeep has an auto locker in the front and I can turn it with one finger. Got a Detroit in the rear of my F250 and I have a Lock Right I am getting ready to put in the front.
selectable lockers make it hard to turn when locked,
Thats the beauty of a selectable locker, you disengage it at the push of a button. The rig Ive been in that had a Detroit up front would sometimes get into a bound up position where it wouldn't unlock, making it very difficult to maneuver the obstacle. That was with hydro assist steering. My personal dedicated offroad rig has a Detroit rear, Zip locker up front.
