I have a 2019 XLT 6.7 I have been on the fence about buying a Banks I-Dash thinking this was the only way to monitor DPF status etc. I just read up that on XL and XLT I can have the DPF % screen and the OCR enabled with forscan. I would like to think my dealer will do this for me. Does anyone here have the steps needed if I get the dumb look from the service writer when i ask this question? I think i need to monitor it and I dont like the feeling of knot knowing when it is in a regen state. Not sure if dealer will charge me or not but i have been a reg customer there since i bought the truck. thanks Jeff

Here is the "Ghost Screen"/DPT%/Exhaust Filter screen via the Ford VCMII. I did this on my 2015 and would assume similar for your truck. Not sure this adds OCR or not. It didn't for my truck.
I purchased my 2019 XLT just little over a month ago and when i took it back the following week for them to take care of some recalls they did not address, i asked them to add the DPF% and the OCR. I was concerned a little that i didn't explain myself correctly, but in the end they added the DPF% screen and the other day i was able to see when my exhaust filter was full, it did give me the ability to clean it. I didn't at the time cause i had a 25 mile drive ahead of me and let it do it on it's own. The dealer charged me $20 i think.
Scan Gauge II, using the X gauge programing can display the Soot Level (%) and the Regen Status. Depending on where you buy it, it can run anywhere from $135 to $150. This one was $135 off of Amazon Prime. The one in the 96 250 PSD came from AutoZone a number of years back and was $150.
It plugs directly into the OBDII port and can give real time readouts on multiple items. Kind of like having 30 or 40 gauges that you can view digital readouts on four at a time....not fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but effective. The pic is showing the Scan Gauge in the 2011 F350 and is displaying the Regen Off, Soot Level 56.9% and then the transmission fluid temp and the radiator fluid temp. I usually don't display the Regen or the Soot Level on long trips until I start to get with in about 30 miles of our destination.
NOTE: Because the 96 is not fully OBDII compliant it only works on about 1/4 (or less) of the possible gauges. It does provide real time actual digital temps on Water and Oil temp which is a plus since the 96 has the idiot style gauges.

The photo bucket images are actually the same as the ones I posted earlier in the thread than on post #27.
Larry - Just an FYI Photo Bucket is blocking your images by adding a logo and blurring the image which renders them useless on a forum. They have a history of jacking up images that are hot linked in a forum. I use https://postimages.org/ they don't pull any shenanigans like photobucket. Registration is not required but it is free and gives you the option to edit or remove images and IIRC images uploaded by a non registered user can be deleted if there has not been any views of the image in 6 months time.

thanks, i wrote down the steps and will bring them with me if i need bump the techs memory at the dealer as to where it is located. Im sure the Dealer will charge me something to have this enabled.
