Unhappy Needing Advice and or input

I recently got a 1977 Ford f-150. Which I have wanted for a while now. I am looking at putting a 4-link and air ride on it and then body modifications as well as engine and interior. What I was looking for was some advice on any good engine tranny combos for your average street truck. Also information on the best way to go for a 4-link and air ride. One more thing I cant seem to find any magazines that are just ford truck parts or body panals or anything of the sort so any information on that would be gratly appriciated as well. Thanks again 77blueoval

If you want to race and be fast for cheap then go with the 460 and c-6. As far as suspension goes the 4 link had better be well built or it will cause more problems than the factory leaf springs.
