2012 6.7 HVAC controller issues
Ive got a 2012 super duty that was in need of a mode door actuator. I removed the dash, replaced the mode door actuator assembly, replaced the dash, and now i have no activity from the HVAC module.
Used the guided component testing and concluded that the constant power was present, ground was strong, and CAN communication lines were clear to the diagnostic plug.
I then replaced the controller. The old controller was heavily corroded inside. Still no activity with a new controller. Before removal, the controller powered on but there was no change in position or temp when pushing the buttons. The mode door just skipped and clicked.
Does the controller turn on from a CAN signal? Did i leave something unplugged? Im pretty sure it just needs those 4 wires to power up. Im It a dead end, i hope someone can help me out.
