AA vs. AARM vs. CARM?

I'm trying to compare prices of reman. calipers and I get three different Revision Codes: AA, AARM and CARM. Can anyone tell me what these mean? I tried searching and couldn't make heads or tails out of these codes.
Thanks.

a link to the pages that list the products you are talking about might help us decipher the codes.

This the link address, I think, is for Village Ford Parts. The description reads for the Right Front 3C3Z-2B120-AA "Less Pads" for $76.29.

https://www.fordpartsgiant.com/parts...=2V120%2c2V140
This is the link to Ford Parts Giant with a description for the right side front that reads "Brakes (Motorcraft Reman)." The part # is: YC3Z-2V120-CARM no pads for $51.52. Then the left side is $61.81. Go figure?

I thought all calipers by Motorcraft were remans. I was mostly looking at the $25.00 difference. I was going to call Ford Parts Giant, since I have ordered from them before, and ask, but I found that most of the Ford parts are sold with the same looking software, pricing is the same for both left and right calipers and have the exact same "3C3Z-2B120-AA" for the Right Front and "3C3Z-2B121-AA" for the Left Front.

I don't know where I got the AARM except that I found that Revision Code for some other parts on other websites.

AA vs. CARM?

not everything in Fords numbering makes sense but anything RM means Re-manuractured.

as far as I know all fords 99-05 excursion and 99-04 F250 calipers are remaned.

I think the CA and the AA are part of the original part #. They add RM on the end to designate remanufactured. The Village caliper doesn't say reman. If it's actually new, I would pay the higher price. You are comparing 2 different part #s. I don't know what the difference is, but they seem to fit the same application.

Thanks for the info. I went with Village Ford. We'll see what we get.

They're also tacking on a $60.00 core charge to your $76.29.
