Unknown cam help Identify please
I bought a ranger with a 5.0 swap pulled the engine out and apart due to white smoke from pitting in cyl walls but it had a nice sounding cam and I might want to use it again for another project only idk what kinda cam it is all I can find is the part number 961594 punched into end of can any info on cam is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Try entering those numbers on Summit Racing's site and see what comes up. Otherwise, you can figure the lift specs using a set of dial calipers and measuring the lobe lift (measure the base circle, then the top of the lobe, then subtract the base measurement from the lobe figure, then multiply by 1.6 to get the valve lift.

ill try looking it up summit I know how to check with the proper tools just don't have access to them right now haven't bought a set yet once I get back to GA for school I'll have access to the tools
