Small Differences from 2017-2019
Would love some reviews of these unadvertised changes. Thanks
In fact, the title clearly limited the years of consideration for comparison to between 2017 through 2019.
If I wanted to poll drivers for the differences they experience in vehicle vibration from 40 - 60 mph, then the drivers would offer their experiences from 40 mph to 60 mph. They wouldn't have the clairvoyance to know that I was really wanting to know the differences in vibration they felt at 70 mph, compared to the vibration they felt from 40 - 60 mph.
I only make this point to emphasize how much more useful specific and descriptive thread titles can be, because we are not clairvoyant. We cannot read minds. And what may be so abundantly clear to the exclusion of all other possible thoughts in a thread author's mind... may not even be in the consciousness of a reader's mind.
This isn't said to bust your chops... it was just another opportunity to remind members to be as clear as possible with thread titles, as clear titles make the Search function work better for everyone, and clear titles attract members most interested and best qualified with similar experience to answer. Thread titles also help in SEO (search engine optimization), which helps draw new members to FTE.
Nor are these comments meant to derail this thread. In fact, I'm closing this thread, because I think your post is an EXCELLENT idea for a Sticky thread.
So consider your thread elevated to the top, which will help accomplish your original request, which was for a single consolidated thread inventorying all the differences between the 2017-2019 and the 2020 Super Duties.
Within the last 3 days, 3 threads have been started seeking to explore the differences between the 2020 models and the 2017-2019 models that preceded them, so this is clearly a topic of interest.
Fortunately, there is already a Sticky at the top of the 2017+ Super Duty forum that describes the three biggest differences... an all new gas engine, and all new 10 speed transmission, and a completely revised, from pistons to power numbers, 6.7L diesel engine. That thread was locked. Now, it is open, and will remain open for members to add their observations and comments about the differences they have noticed between 2017-2019 models, versus the new 2020 models.

Thank you for your suggestion of this topic.
