I think there was a 1963 4x4 for sale south of me for years that was white on green. Ford had done dumber things with colours. First time I saw the Bronco in American Pie 2 I proclaimed the truck was painted. Girlfriend asks how I can tell from a TV screen. I respond no reputable automobile manufacturer would sell a dark blue exterior with red interior. She laughs and agrees. Years go by and I relocate. I attend the local weekly car show and a dude has a 1978 Ford Granada ESS and surprise. It is the same shade of dark blue with the same dark red interior on the Bronco. I tell him about the movie and he tells me about his Marti report. The colours have grown on me.
