Fuel pump.
Working on a 1994 Explorer with a 4.0 engine. Local shop fixed a EGR censor and it ran for about 5 miles and it stopped. Shop said it was the fuel pump and was not caused by something they worked on. So I put new pump assembly in and still no pressure to the fuel rail. No sounds from the pump. Switched the fuel pump relay, checked the fuses and inertia switch and plugs at the pump. Any thing else that I should be looking at?

Do you have a wiring schematic? It's hard to troubleshoot without one. It sounds like there's no power to the pump. I would check for power to the fuel pump connector and work back to the power source from there. Or, check for continuity but keep in mind that the fuel pump is turned off after a few seconds when the key is turned to RUN but the engine isn't running.
