I don't use the app but logged into owner.ford.com and appears there is an update available. I haven't tried an OTA update yet.
My app and website say this but when I went to install the update on my flashdrive it's the exact same update I've already done... I don't have any issues with the system so I'm just going to ride it out till I hear about the next major update.

Probably a good call - I'm having issues extracting and moving files at the moment. Got the entire zip to USB but having issues extracting or moving the files to Root directory,
Going to try and see what it does when I load the USB as is into truck later. If it fails then I won't bother. Would rather an OTA update. Wish you could connect to 5ghz networks, much faster than my 2.4 (though 2.4 has better range).
Just updated my 2019 F-250 Lariat yesterday and the only change I saw was the build number - I'm waiting to check to see if this corrected the issue with Waze's speed indication not matching the truck's speedometer. Took MUCH longer to download the files to the USB than it did to actually update the truck's software. We'll see...
Mine is still at 18093. FordPass says an update is available. Ford Owner website says it's up to date and shows no further possibility.
Just like the website says no recall or actions for my truck, but there are in fact at least one recall and one FSA currently that appear on the app. No communication there between personnel apparently.
This isnt the update that the guys are pushing from the 2020's right? Basically Im wondering if Ford is pushing the new update that the 2020s have or is it some other update/not the new interface?
19205 is the newest version of 3.0 that's on the Ford servers. 19205 will solve the Waze issue according to everyone I've observed update for that specific bug.
JR3T-14G381-AS407Mb Sync3 v3.0.19205 25.07.2019 (THIS IS ONLY THE APP FILE)
I don't see any app updates for any version of Sync posted to the Ford server for 2020 as of yet.
I originally received an “Installation failed” message, but that was followed by an “Installation Successful” message after the next engine start. Seems to be working nominally.
All this version talk, I'm just waiting for Ford to figure out how to reliably dim the center stack on Sync3. So annoying having to constantly hit the dimmer switches in both my 2018 Explorer and 2019 F350 to get the screen to dim with the rest of the dash.
