Hello,
Just blew the head gasket in my poor old 03 Ford Explorer Sport XLT 4x4. Bought this in 07 with 69K highway miles for just $7500 cash off a NJ Ford lot in excellent condition. It needed new tires and brakes all around which I did myself the day after buying it. It was a steel for sure! I've driven this for the past 13 years and not once did it ever let me down.
Looking to step up to the F250 LARIAT Crew Cab with the new 7.2. Mainly a family daily travel vehicle. Retired in Delaware and ride motorcycles so I ride when I can. Yearly summer trips to Newfoundland, Canada with my bike and my sons bike and the pickup will make it easier for sure.
You'll enjoy the 250. Mine has the 6.4. My first diesel. I'll never look at another truck.
I invite you to join us in the Delaware chapter. Just send me a PM, (Private Message), with a few basics, where you live, your vehicles(s) and maybe include a few of your interests outside of Ford Trucks. Coffee is served every morning and you don't need to be a chapter member to partake.

Thanks. I jump into and out of hobbies and interests quickly but looking to own this for a good number of years so as things go I'll likely be around often at the start and then on/off as the years pass.
Yeah you'll be happy with the F250 . . . unless your priority is a small vehicle.
Welcome aboard!
Yeah.. So many awesome memories and trips in the ol'Sport its hard to say goodbye but onwards to something newer and hopefully better! I also own a 67 Mustang/Shelby (351W) which is my 'small car' that I rebuilt myself and a 72 AMC Ambassador SST (360) which is my larger car.. though perhaps midsized next to the F250. Thanks!
