Alternator question
I took it off and forgot to label what went where on the voltage regulator
On the alternator I have these posts:
Bat
FI
STA
Ground
and one that isn't named
On the regulator I have these:
S
F
A
I
Im assuming S and Sta go together
and F and Fi
ground grounds to the frame or something
but what about the other post on the alternator and the A on it?
Im not sure if its working the way it is
As Ive had it running, and then pulld the regulator off to see if it "whines" but I get no whine either way....
Any help would be appreciated.
.and maybe you could help me too.im having problems with my starter cylinoid..sometimes when im starten here itll throw sparks..then sometimes it wont, well im a newbie to the 352 so eveyday im learnin something new.but maybe you could tell me how your starter cylinoid is hook up..or is this the same??
Mine is a bit different... as I have rewired the whole truck
But The spark situation maybe that the nuts arent tight for the start wire, or the battery wire.
Check it out
The voltage regulator is on the right side of the truck....
beside the radiator sorta.
Its got a long set of wires running from the altnernator to the radiator support then across to your regulator
Mines been relocated tho
