Has anyone successfully installed the 38 gallon tank from a long bed in a short bed? I searched for ever but even when I searched "38 gallon" I got every thread with GALLON in it!
Not sure about that, doesn't seem like it would fit.
I have often thought about putting a F550 tank in place of my spare tire. It's 50 gallons and looks like it would bolt right in. I even had one.... never did it and got rid of it when I moved.
the fuel tube connection is in the wrong place, will not line up with existing fill location on a short bed. This is what i was told by Titan rep. so if you want to relocate the fill door then it might work per the rep conversation.
