Here is a pic of the firewall of my truck. I have a bit of welding and hammer/dolly work left to do, then onto epoxy primer and bondo. What should I do next? The paint you see is good so thinking of just sanding it, 80 grit OK? I have a RO sander but it doesn't reach the corners. Is hand sanding OK? Same grit? Want it to look good as this project is turning into more of a show piece every time I touch it.
Yes that's how you get into the areas the machine will not, by hand.
I don't know if I would go with 80 grit as it might be to ruff maybe 120 grit, just need to add some bite for the primer to stick is all.
