Well fellas, It's beat me up to the point mentally and I can't find an engine that I will settle that is good enough without spending a big $10,000 dollars so I have decided to sell her. You can see in my signature line It had like 194,000 on it when I got it in 2008 and here we are 12 years later and I have only added about 50,000 mile to it. It's a great truck that needs a great motor and I don't have it in me. It's a deep blue, short bed CC 4X4 2000 model. Transmission was rebuilt at 194,000 as well but a certified transmission shop that is still in operation and I paid extra for a tripe disc Torque converter at that time. All stock as far as I know and has factory wheels. less than 10,000 miles on injectors, HPOP, glow plugs. Starter and front brake calipers and 1 line replaced about a year ago. When I get it home from the mechanics that was supposed to put an engine in it for me, Ill post up some pics somewhere here. Maybe someone on this site is looking for a truck like this. I know yall haven't seen it, never wrecked, at least not by me. Any rough idea what it is worth as it is? I just don't have the time to put an engine in it......
Thats only 6hrs from me.. I thought you were on the west coast for some reason!! I have really good friends in Scotsboro.
I’m supposed to be getting a good, used engine any day now. We can talk about putting it in your truck if you want. Unfortunately a truck with non-running engine is not going to bring much $$$.You really don’t want to know what I pay for them!
If you want to sell it quick and for a good price you are better off fixing it first TBH.
I wouldn't go big bucks on a brand new reman. Safer bet is a good used original engine and no Ebay. Local pickup. Have Jason help you if he is willing. You could probably get it running right again for $4-5k and then sell it for $15k instead of $5k.

If that solution sounds like the better way to go, okay, just clean it up and sell it with full disclosure. If it will still move around under its own power that would help though.
I have a complete 2003 crew cab with 169000 miles that the body’s rusty on it. Runs awesome, I have no use for it $3700 you can have the whole truck and sell off the extra stuff to recoup your cost
Thanks for the help fellas. And the offer for truck that has a good engine. Ill get it home soon and just post it up in the classified section. Maybe someone will be interested in it.
My time means more to me than anything at this point in my life. See, i'm a 50 year old man that only gets time to do things with the family on the weekends. I have 3 children, 30 year old, 27 year old and an 8 year old, yes, an 8 year old. I also have a wife that has Leukemia (Its stable at the moment) so I can always make more money but time is what I can't ever get back so I use it wisely. Ill be posting in a week or so. Thanks again fellas.
