hey, I wasnt quite sure where to post this but hey ill give this a go... anyways my problem is in my 1995 F-150 the passenger side dash right between the end of the bash and the front of the door, moves up and down, if i take off all the covers on that side theres actually a bracket that goes under the dash that is snapped in half. anyone ever replace one of these? i cant tell what all it is connected too, or if i can even get one from a dealership or if it is even removable? also my door pannels rattle a slight amount, and they have brand new clips in them, they rattled less with the old ones! argh! anyways this really bothers me because most of my driving is done on bumpy, cracked, or non-paved roads. any ideas?
MIne was broke too. I used a piece of 1/8" aluminum plate about 3/4" wide and just started bending it till it worked. Its solid as a rock. The stock one is plastic so welding aint gona happen. Don't bother with 2 part epoxy it will break after a while.

Actually, there is plastic welding. I have seen it used only on cosmetic items before, don't know if it would be an option in a structural application.
hey, thanks for the ideas! have you got any pictures or anythign though, im afraid i dont exactly visualize what youre saying....a piece of metal that goes from the broke bracket to the side that is riveted to the frame, or take off the piece riveted to the frame and replace all of that? thanks a ton!
