Good afternoon. I have two slicks, a 65 LWB CC that is mostly complete and original and I plan to keep going that direction.
The other is a 63 LWB UNI that is in rough shape and dying for a resto/ratrod type treatment. they both had the wraparound dock bumper.
The 65 got rear-ended before I got it and the bumper looked like a pretzel and is now gone. I thought about building a bumper out of some 6" pipe or something
but I think that would go better with the ratrod theme of the 63.
So my question, finally, is will the 63 bumper fit the 65 without too much modification?
I have a bumper sitting in my yard that I took off my 65 F100. I noticed you live in So Cal. I won't ship this thing but if you want it, it's yours. I can take a picture of it, it is not a wrap around like above but it is a lot like those. a step bumper. It's in very solid straight condition. Maybe a coat of paint is needed but yeah. I live in Riverside and Ive just been holding on to it.

Chuck, I think a road trip to Riverside might be in my future. Could you post a picture or two?
Sorry for the poor light but by the time I get home from work it's dark. Other than needing sanding and paint, it's in straight condition with no dents that I see. The original owner of the truck had this mounted at the same time he had the hitch installed back when he bought the truck. He had a camper on it once he took ownership from the dealership. The second owner used the truck to pull his boat and I suppose he liked this bumper too. Me? I wanted the chrome bumper to match the front so I removed this and it's been sitting in the back ever since.

It's perfect for the traffic down here. It'll give the tailgaters something to think about when they get too close. I don't know if I can make the trip this weekend or not. Want to PM me, let me know what works for you?

PM sent. No hurry on picking it up. It will be waiting for you when you want it.
