What was the last year Ford produced a Crewcab Long Bed (8') F-150? I'm looking around locally at used F-150s and my wife isn't fond of the shorter beds. Thanks for your help!
There was no factory crew cab F150 in this vintage truck at all, if you have seen one it was an aftermarket conversion done by Centurion or another company.
Ford did build crew cab trucks starting as early as 1965 but they were only offered on F250/350 platforms.
I'm pretty sure Ford never made a long bed F-150 crew cab.
Some time in the 2000s I think they started making the SuperCrew, which was an F-150 7700 (the old 3/4 ton truck, called "F-250" up through '98) with a crewcab and about a 4.5' box.
Then around 2007 or 2008 they started making a short bed (6.5') crew cab F-150 7700.
I haven't paid much attention lately, so it's possible that they started making long beds more recently. But as far as I'm aware it's still just short beds.
the actually crew hes talking about is prob a centurion and ive never seen a long bed version of the f150s. centurion used a xtra cab long bed frame and put a short bed crew cab on it. there never was a half ton that long. only a one ton.
