I bought it to put in the yard but i am considering rebuilding is it worth it?
We've seen other truck bought for yard art then become fixed up and running. From here it looks pretty good except for that front bumper! But what does the frame look like
If you get it pulled out of it's current situation and it looks better, you never know. From the pictures, the body looks pretty straight overall, the interior is all there except the radio, and the body parts are the expensive and difficult part of restoring these. I think, if the frame is no good (rusty) that it's actually easier to put a good body on a newer frame than it is to restore a rusty body on an otherwise good frame. If by "not right" you mean the frame isn't original, that's fine if someone swapped it out in the day as long as it works right. I suppose it was parked for a reason...
If the body is really straight, and you want a yard art truck, you probably can sell this for a decent profit and get a more rusty truck for the yard art deal. People are always looking for rust free bodies and body parts.
Someone put some time in it. Later model car clutch, brake, and throttle pedals and everything attached to it, the car suspension. It looks like the bed is sitting too high, which leads me to believe the sheet metal is on a '53 or '54 car frame.
Looks like mountain lion tracks on the front fender.
That body doesn't look like it is good for only yard art. Worth putting some time and money into in my opinion. Don't know if the current frame is too mis-matched, but the body can be salvaged.

The same thought came to me, but Mountain Lions in Oklahoma? That would make the truck valuable for a biologist, since free living Mountain Lions are very rare in Oklahoma.

Yep, not many in Oklahoma or Missouri. I would guess bobcat, they seem large for a house cat.
Here is info on mountain lions: Oklahoma Mountain Lions
Here in Missouri, we have a map showing all the sighting locations. If you click on the dots you can see what evidence they had; photos, scat, dead lion, etc. https://nature.mdc.mo.gov/discover-n...n-lion-reports
Here in PA the State Game Commission says there are no mountain lions in the Pennsylvania Wilds.... none, zero, nil.... The Game Commission says the last native Eastern Mountain Lion was killed in Berks County in 1871. But hunters and outdoorsmen claim they have seen them in the wild for several years now. And don't forget the Penn State Nittany Lions.
I’m not going to hijack that thread , but here in Germany the Wolf was extinguished until the end of the 19th century. But now more and more Wolves come from Russia and Poland to Germany. Even here in the western parts the sightings become more. Unfortunately that started a discussion of pro and contra. Farmers hate Wolves in fear of their sheeps, environmentalists say the wolf is an important part of our Flora. For me it’s a good thing to have the wolf back.
