I purchased my truck from a friend a year and a half ago. I finally made room in my garage to bring it home. I live in Evansville, Indiana. I know Tom (48fordcoe) on here.

Here is a few pics of the ol truck.

Here is my other toy.

Hi and welcome to FTE!

Your truck looks to be in very good condition for a starter!

I'm looking forward to having you here and watching you restoration!

Thanks Jules.

The truck was last driven on the street 20 years ago. It took hardly any effort to get it running. It does have some electrical issues that i will be digging into in the future. (I will be hitting you up Jules)

Welcome, glad to have you. That's a great looking '50. Are you planning a restore or are you going to update? I am planning on keeping my six banger for now but have a flat V-8 warming up in the wings. I will convert to 12V but keep everything else pretty much stock. Looking forward to following you project.

49willard, the truck is very complete. I am only missing a few things, but it is the hard stuff to find (heater & oil bath cleaner). Plans are still up in the air. I enjoy driving my stuff and not letting it sit in the garage. I work 30 miles one way from home, so i need something reliable. I am thinking of stock appearing with modern day equipment (front disc brakes, power brakes, and a T5). But that could change tonight.

breeves, welcome to FTE. We won't judge you just because you know Tom.lol Tom is a great guy and a real talent. Your truck looks real solid for an Indiana truck. Lots of salt used here on the roads. Looking forward to your input on the forum.

I usually don't coment on poeple's choices of friends but if you know Tom I really wonder about you, just kidding, Tom is one of the best guys you'll meet and usually knows what he is talking about as long as it pertains to old ford trucks, any other questions please refer to someone else for those answers, glad to have you around here. Man I feel for this guyas he only lives a few miles form TOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!poor guy.
