If the distributor is still there, which post on the coil goes to the dist? + or - ? That wire is the ground for the points.

I was going to look today but it was pouring. I will look next time I’m at the truck though.

how can you tell the color through all that rust? I’m color blind myself, mostly red/green so maybe that’s why I can’t see it.

The blueish hue behind the front bumper. Polish that a while and it will turn to Meadow Green. Mine looks the same. I am sorry for you being color blind, but it might save you from a huge bill from the paint shop. Just say you don't see any rust. My brother in law is color blind, too, Doesn't bother him at all.

So since you only have "Thursdays" to spend time with the new girl friend, and it was raining, does that mean you have an IOU from her and the wife, good for any day of your choosing?
