Thank you for posting your install pictures, it looks good. Are the radius arms parallel with the ground now and have you noticed if it took the bend out of the front spring?

I have seen on FB where someone used the .500" brackets and didn't do anything else to the suspension. He said he didn't have any issues. I dunno about that. OUO engineers them and he seems to know his stuff.

Here is some communication with OUO when I asked the difference between the two brackets and if I needed sway bar relocation parts.
"Yes, you get 2 brackets, and the hardware in the photo with the 105040 or the 105070.

105070 2.5D Radius Arm Drop Standard - Radius Arm Drops

The 105040 is if you are going to run tires bigger than 35’s. Moving the axle forward 1/2” gets you room between the fender and the tire. You can run our bumper spacer

101360 - 1/4" to 3/4" Thick Front Bumper Stackable Spacer Kit - 2017 and Newer Super Duty.

They will be on the web store soon, But you can put them in the special instruction in the cart on the webstore and we will add them to the order.

These Sway bar links work will with the 105040 and will be on the web store soon, But you can put them in the special instruction in the cart on the webstore and we will add them to the order.

These links keep the Drag Link and sway bar clearance correct.

#105060 Front Sway Bar Axle Adapters with 6.5in Sway Bar Links for F250 F350 Superduty

We try to make your truck last longer with less problems than other companies.

We are more functional detail oriented, not many others even understand what bump steer is let alone how to build suspension without it."

Badford - how was the install? What did you attach the ratchet to when you pulled the axle forward (i assume)? Did you use any other support for the frame or axle or can these drop brackets be installed with the truck on the ground? I may be buying a set of these soon. CB

I had my truck on a lift. You could do it on the floor with a floor jack. Make sure you can raise and lower the truck with a floor jack on the frame not the axle. There are holes in the radius arms that I put the S hooks in and found some holes in the frame to pull it with. Pass side I had to pull the axle back, dr side was the opposite. I left my wheels on. With the weight off the wheels the arms want to raise up. With a little pressure on the wheels they will drop down out of your way to install the brackets. Also get some loctite for the bolts that don't have lock nuts.

Is the idea with these brackets that the caster shims are not needed anymore?

Did you have to install the sway bar relocation bracket? Or are the sway bar brackets that came with the readylift kit enough?

With the drop brackets you should not need the caster bushing. I only have the sway bar drop brackets that came with my RL kit.

my kit came with drop brackets for the sway bar (readylift) and my caster is in the mid 2’s on both sides - 2.3 drivers side and 2.6 passenger side. I am thinking that these brackets would put me in the mid 4’s which would be best case (for me).

What about a realignment? If my alignment is solid now, will I need another after the drop bracket install? Is it a drastic change?

Mine has a slight pull to the left now. I plan to get it aligned before I put new 35" tires on.

So, it sounds like the best scenario is to install the radius arm drop brackets and not install the shims? I still have the shims in a box so I can return them if the drop brackets are a better solution. And do the radius arm drop brackets negate the need for the Readylift sway bar drop brackets? This thread is getting really interesting.

You will still need the sway bar drop brackets from Ready lift. Those are two different issues. I would keep the caster bushing till after you have it aligned. Depending on how big you go on tires. Every alignment shop seams to have there own specs. If they say you don't need them great send them back.
