does the caster angle change as a result of a spacer or spring lift kit?

based on where the measurements are made....I dont see the angle changing relative to the measure points. I do see both measure points moving together...but no change between the points of measurements.

Keep us posted. What else have you done/added to your front suspension?

I have the Ready lift leveling kit 2.5” with track bar drop bracket. Kelderman dual SS with Fox shocks. This should complete my lift.

Indeed, curious as to how the alignment turns out if you are going to get one. I am planning on getting a before reading on my current alignment so I have starting point to work from.

Section179's pic shows what happens when things are rotated with a level. When you lift the front via spacer or coil you raise the frame by that amount. That frame runs down the truck where your radius arms attach to. Where that blue arrow is, raise that radius arm pivot point by about what the front lift was. that radius arm is no longer level. It points up. Which means the axle had to rotate with the radius arm. The radius arm to axle is not a pivot point. That's where you lose castor. You have to rotate it back via shims or lowering the radius arm back to level.

Brackets

I did 2.5 Carli springs and track bar bracket .I went with the pmf radius arms and set them to their spec b4 I installed. Installation was straight forward and fairly simple. I did a basic check of castor afterwards and I am at 5 and 5.5 give or take. I haven’t taken to an alignment shop Just checked with what basics I have. Rides and steers great.

Those look great! I can't wait to put together a 2.5" level kit when my truck arrives.

Decided to knock this out on lunch break. About an hour install. You will need 1-1/8 wrench and socket and ratchet strap to pull axle back into location.

I have the ready lift leveling kit which rides just like stock. I have not had it aligned yet. It drove straight after I installed the kit and still does with the new drop brackets. I will probably get it aligned before I buy new larger tires. Overall very pleased with the quality of Ready lift, Kelderman and OUO products. Just under $1000 for everything. Kelderman SS was the most expensive....
