1997 F250 PSD, ran fine on Monday. Went to start it today, it will crank fine, but won't start. The wait to start light never comes on (of course it is 80 deg) When I tried to retrieve the error codes, it will not sync up. All fuses check fine and I swapped the relays around. I am guessing PCM at this point, any one have a better idea.
PSD's are very sensitive to battery voltage. My coworker went to start his truck, it would crank but would not fire and no smoke. Jumped it and it started. Started when warmed up too. Replaced the batteries and no more problems.
I vote with Powerstroker...........Been there, done that ..... Charge up the batteries or jump it...It will start again until you let it sit long enough for the battery to short down.. Probably only one is bad but change them both .. Good luck .......
I agree with Jerrybo66 and powerstroker 250. When the batteries on my X were dying, I had them both tested and one came out good and the other bad. I replaced the both of them under warranty and I haven't had a problem since. So, just get some new batteries and you, as well as your rig, should be just fine.
