trans filter and fluid

Im planning on changing my trans fluid and filter today. Does anyone know how many quarts go into a 95 350 4x4 psd? And whats everyone using?

I've read on several threads that the either the Amsoil or Schneider synthetic oils are the way to go.
Not sure about the filter.

Thanks heatstroked. I read somewhere it will take 5 quarts. Do you know where the drain is. Im guessing its on the trans pan.

Not sure if your is comparable to my '02, but the pan has a drain plug. Total change is much more than 5 quarts if you are planning to flush and refill the entire transmission circuit. IMO that's the only way to go. I just did my '02 and it took about 15 quarts to flush and refill. Used synthetic as well. IMO Syn. is the only was to go in transmissions.
