47 Mercury Update

Hello all, Been awhile since i posted as i had kinda put the truck in the corner to work on my 68 mustang, but know i am back at it and thought i would post some progress photos. I have boxed the frame, installed a mustang II front end, 4 link with a 9 inch in the rear. 5.0 with a aod trans, air ride. Before and as it sits right now.

More pics. Made a new fire wall,brakes all plumbed, and restored my heater box.

That's badass man! I'm doing something similar to my 47 merc panel! I got a 86 xj6 jag front end and rear about to be bagged. What wheel tire size are you running?

18x10 REAR WITH 275/40/18, FRONT 18x8 WITH 245/40/18.

Thanks, looks deadly...im trying to figure out what wheel/tire size I want to run.I was toying between 16-17s and like a 245/50ish but those 18s are looking are nice

FYI: I am running the 1 ton fenders on my truck which are larger than the 1/2 ton fender openings

Oh ok, yeah they are a bit bigger, so maybe 16s,17s will have close to the same looks, I love when the rim of the wheel is lined with the top of the fender line
