good deal rollbar!! also dorman makes a nozzle kit 47137 that uses nuts and to hold nozzle in place maybe even has a gasket to protect the paint
time to find my good step drill
looks' like the nozzles are 11" off hood center line each side and 8" from the windshield???
-Do you mean 8" from the firewall back on the hood?
-Or 8" from the base of the windshield so that would put them just off the edge end of the hood.
-Maybe someone that has the OEM installed can take a pic/ final measurement.
Here are some pictures and measurements from my 66 parts truck. If you need anything else, let me know. The 7 13/16 measurement is taken from the back edge of the hood.

Rollbar, I saw that one and I was going to do it, then I remembered all the times I climbed up under the hood in my old Fords and sat on the bag and got a wet ***.
Dave, I can’t say for sure, but I’d guess that location of your switch -as well as the toggle switch itself - to be a previous owners’ handiwork, and not that of either the factory or a dealership. That indent above your ignition switch is the only place I’ve seen them, and it has always been a momentary contact push-button that I’ve seen there, There’s at least one NOS one on eBay now. But anything can work.

Reason: Correct atrocious spelling.
At some point, I may decide to install the nozzle on the hood but in the meantime, I salvaged a set of nozzles of an early model vehicle mounts to the firewall and the nozzle protrudes out the vent, now I need to decide the type of reservoir and pump?

Daves is a nicer installation than the factory button and I'm a bit off from stock with my air ride so I don't think I'd lose any points at a show for that.
After serial number 760,000 (October 1965) in the 1966 model run they did change to using a wiper switch with an integral washer switch for use with the 2 speed wipers.
C6TZ-17A553-B (SW-736) - SWITCH ASSY. - WINDSHIELD WIPER and WASHER - Used with 2 speed wipers - 7 terminals
Single speed wipers still used the push button to activate the washer pump. Unless it had a foot pump.

Yeah, Eric, I’m all for function over form, and my truck’s a tool to be used. Mine’s not going to a show any time soon.
