Hoping NumberDummy or someone has a source... I am writing to ask if you can number and source someone with replacement door window pads(?). The body shop broke clips removing the old ones and the replacements from LMC were a joke we returned. The body shop has some coming from Summit Racing, but I'm not holding my breath. Maybe some NOS or better quality replacement is out there? Here is a photo and thank you for your consideration.
Thanks !

https://broncograveyard.com/ has excellent quality weather stripping and seals. They have a very good reputation on this forum. I am very happy with mine.

x2 on these , I used these and they seem good so far
Thanks all. Looks like BGY or Precision is the place to go in lieu of NOS. If the SR parts on order are crap like the LMC set was, I'll order these.

I"m not sure what you didn't like about the LMC replacements, but I've gotten them from LMC, Dennis Carpenter, and Rock Auto and they were all the same quality. Probably all made from the same factory and just being resold at the various online outlets.
That's not good news. I'm going on the word of the auto body shop, who returned them and placed a second order. We'll see what SR delivers and I agree that they are pro'ly all made in the same place
I just did 4 doors worth of full window seals, used BGY stuff, was as good as it gets. I have used lmc before and they weren't that much worse (maybe no worse). The clips are very easy to 'unseat' from the rubber strips. You have to keep them straight and not allow any prying force to lever them out of their mounting spots (on the rubber strip). The prongs on the bottom of the mounting clips are like a glorified staple, When installing new ones, you just have to lower the window down into the door, drop the strip down into the window channel, and push the assembly straight into the door holes, without racking them. Use something blunt and push the rubber DIRECTLY behind where each individual clip is located and that way you wont distort the straightness of the rubber strip. Each clip will snap into its hole nicely...
The body shop probably made a mistake like forgetting to drop the window back into the door first, and tried to remove the strips, and the clips pulled out of the strips or something like that.
I'd have to agree with art vandolay (imports and exports?) that the clips are junk. That was really the only issue I ever had with any of the ones I've installed. You better get them in right the first time, because if you have to remove a clip for whatever reason it'll most likely pop out of the strip. I learned my lesson on the first one I installed.
IMO its almost impossible to remove these weatherstrips without breaking the clips. My opinion is if you ever have to remove these just buy a new set of strips so you are ready to install.
Does anyone know how to do the vent windows? I have the seals but not sure how to remove the glass.
Open the truck door to expose 3 screws along the edge of the door frame around where the vent window sits. Then remove the door panel and find a bolt next to the round hole for a stereo speaker and remove that. This will free the vent window assembly. To get it out, I have to remove the window itself, and at least one of the sweepers. Getting the vent window back in was very difficult for me as well and I scratched up my paint doing it. And I also had trouble with the little metal staples on those sweepers like others have said.
