E-350 Glow Plugs
My 2003 E-350 (7.3 L) is getting harder to start everyday. Luckily, it's only on the first start of the day, but I think it may be time to replace the glow plugs. Does anyone know if it's possible to do it without lifting the body off the chassis? Going to test the resistance of the plugs tomorrow with a multi-meter. Any other suggestions/recommendations on other stuff I should check while I'm at it?
Thanks
I have a diesel but it's an 85, back when you can still each things.
Those valve cover bolts are tricky, some bolts is best to open from the wheel well.
Pulling the turbo makes more room.
You may consider new VC gaskets and UVCH wiring..
Possible things to do while youre there:
Upgrade to bellowed up pipes.
If you dont need EBPV,do blank pedestal and exhaust flapper delete.
AIH delete also possible.
Check for play in turbo shaft, look If the compressor wheel is dusted and rebuild If needed.
Check condition of glow plug relay, better upgrades are available.
Add fuel pressure sender to fuel bowl.....
