Lowered 4WD?

I've searched around but can't seem to find anything on this.

Is there any way to get this stance (attached pic) with a 4WD Expedition (and still be drivable ). I need 4wd for winter where I live but I don't go off road and I really love this stance.

Thanks in advance

I don't think too many folks ever want to do this with their 4WD Expeditions. It would help to know what year Expedition you are talking about. Your profile and tag line only mention an Excursion, and you can't easily lower a 4WD Excursion.

Sorry for delayed response, been travelling for work.

I have an excursion but looking at getting another expedition and I really like this stance. I only use 4WD for snow on the roads here in winter (never off road). I was just wondering if this stance could be created with 4WD while retaining AWD for winter roads. probably looking at 2009-2014 for this project.

thanks

I've never seen it. Keep in mind that the one in your picture might be a 2WD.

Looking at part numbers, the Expedition seems to use the same struts on 4x4 and 4x2 models. If that is the case, you should be able to find some drop springs and swap them onto your factory, or factory replacement struts.

Lowering springs:

Someone who has done just that:

My 07 Eddie bar 4x4. 3" drop struts, 2" drop coils in front, 1 loop cut off oem coils in the rear with 22s, 285/35/22. 4 wheel drive works fine.
