2003 2wd excursion

I work at an auto auction and I am always looking for a Diesel Excursion. Well a 2wd Excursion with 40889 in mileage came in. The previous owner only used it to pull his racecar to the track. I REALLY want 4wd but this is a nice truck barely broken in. I need your opinions on what to do? Or if anyone is looking for one with 2wd quad seating DVD in Pewter and Tan let me know and I'll put you directly in touch with the owner.

I'd say rock it if hte price is right and you don't live in an area that has horrific snows. I rarely use my 4wd, typically to get me out of stuck. in 2wd i was able to pass a line of stuck cars on a hill, but had to use 4wd to tow each of them up the hill to where they could continue on their way. 2wd = excuse for "screw you guys, i'm not stuck. shoudln't have taken your prius out in a snow storm, or up a steep snow covered hill"

2WD = less stuff to break and maintain - unless you feel that you need 4WD. I live in CO and get by just fine with 2WD vehicles, most of them have been RWD.
