Coolant Leak

I have recently developed a coolant leak. I am not sure where the leak is exactly but it is coming from the front center part of the engine. The engine runs just fine and the only problem I have had is no heat. Before I take it to a mechanic I was wondering if using Radiator Stop Leak will fix the problem.

No! You are way better off finding out where the leak is coming from.

That stop leak junk is a good way to plug everything up and still not fix the actual leak.

Don't use stop leak. Its probably the o ring in the hose connection. Should be a easy diagnosis. Even a water pump is a easy job on a 6.2.

It was the water pump that was leaking so I went ahead and had it replaced.
