Help
Hello, I'm in need of some assistance. I'm new to this forum, joined to mainly help figure problems out on my 1995 F250 2 wheel drive 351w 5.8 truck. Without further ado here's my issue. Lately it's been kinda falling on its face shortly after shifting in to 2nd gear and is real doggy unless I flutter the gas pedal ( in and out of the gas ) till about 50 - 55mph then once I get to 70-75mph it acts like I have no overdrive and my fuel mileage goes to ****. Would deeply appreciate any comments as to what this might be.

Its auto, yes I've checked the codes and got nothing but a quick flash of the check engine light.

Running codes should not do what your describe as a quick flash. What method are you using to run codes? Sandy
