I just scanned my truck for codes and below are the pictures of codes i threw. I know some are soft codes from mods i have done and others i dont know what are. I was wondering if someone could help diagnose me. The SES/Check Engine light stays off unless im pumping fuel, like like if i hit the pedal and accellerate it turns on, so if we say i boost and cruise upto 50 mph and then let off the pedal it goes off, get on the pedal, and it comes back on... Im just a little confused, hoping someone could help me out! Thanks
Is the truck low on power at all, or does it seem to have any issues you can hear or feel when the light comes on? The codes I would have expected from your description are not there.
What chip/tuner do you have? If you clear the codes, go for a quick normal drive, what codes show back up? Then if you clear the codes again and go for a quick drive where you get on it so the light comes on, what codes show up then?
I have DP Infinity. I had a solid ses light before I bought my tuner and I changed the ICP sensor and now its intermittent like I described. The only thing I feel power wise with my truck is the other day my oring on my fuel bowl lid came loose and sprayed fuel everywhere. So I noticed in high gears when I step on the pedal the rps gain and rev higher and it doesn't seem to produce the power that should go with it, its like I'm in neutral for a few seconds. I thought that was my clutch going but then I thought maybe somehow fuel that leaked just got on it somehow and it was making it do that.
I have cleared the codes and almost immedietly it comes back on and those are the code it reads. I have preformed a buzz test once and it said something about injector 4, then I did another test and they all came back good. Tomorrow I can run it and any tests again and post pictures of the results.
Fuel leaks suck. Yes your clutch is slipping. Slip it a little extra on purpose and it will help it dry out quicker. Just be careful you do it gradually and let off gradually or you'll get a rough spot that makes it grabby and you'll have to slip it again to smooth things out.
The real downside is what the fuel seems to do to the pilot bushing, but hopefully yours will be one of the ones that is unaffected.
P1316 will set the light every time, but it usually is an on or off type of thing. Not something that only shows up during high boost or a heavy load.
Does it act the same if you change tunes? What if you remove the DP and run it stock?

Most likely scenario is that you have a harness under the valve cover working loose. That will trigger the P1316, and it will do it intermittently.
Of course there's other issues that could case it as well.
I am running it stock because I felt with extra HP the clutch wouldn't hold up to so I've been on stock. And with the tunes set the see light still acts the same.
I did the 50cent mod... Well halfway, only on the right side. I never made it into passenger side valve cover yet.
Tomorrow I'll run the tests that that link above suggest and take pics of the results and post them.
Running in the stock setting isn't the same as removing the chip. Might be worth a shot. Just remember to remove the key from the ignition before touching the PCM.
