I may need to fold it up all the way before backing up to my gooseneck.
I think I had misunderstood the previous post that I quoted. Im now understanding that you meant when in the folded flat position, the view of the GN ball is blocked by the cover. In the upright position, you might get an unobstructed view.
Edit- Nope, just tried it and it might still get in the way of viewing the GN ball.
Thats good thanks. I was looking on Amazon and one guy had a problem with warping panels after over a year of use. He was thrilled that after speaking with Extang customer support, they verified he was the purchaser and they sent him a replacement. In his words...he was an Extang buyer for life.
There were two complaints about excessive leaking. One guy in Portland and one somewhere that it snows a lot said it leaked with snow melting on it.
I dont think I care that much. My soft Extangs let some water in as well.
Thanks for the pics.
I went way out on the limb and bought a paragon, i dont like it.
Peragon has a 100 day trial with free returns (as long as you kept the original box like the instructions says). Their cover didn't work for my use case so I returned it. Their customer service is excellent. I'd give them a call if you're not happy.
