Flareside tailgate rubber

I picked up a new flareside bed awhile back for my truck, one thing I noticed while offroading, is that the tailgate would kinda pop outta place. After looking at it, I noticed that it does not have the rubber strips on each side that help hold it firmly against the rear edges of the bed when it is latched in place! My other tailgate has 'em, but not this one. I checked LMC, but they offer nothing of the sort, does anyone know where I may be able to find this, or maybe something I could use instead!?

What year did the bed come off of, and what year is the tailgate from?

EDIT: Flareside, not styleside.

Makes it a different kettle of fish.

The bed & tailgate are from an 87, my old tailgate, which has the rubber, is from my 82. I circled which part in the picture, also included photos of both my tailgates! Looks like I may need to get something from the hardware store!

The newer bed & gate from an 87, no rubber:

My old gate from the 82, with whats left of the rubber:

That might be the easiest.

I have never seen rubber mounted in that location.

I can probably get a strip, lay it in with some adhesive, and then score it. Really keeps it from rattling around, my old tailgate used to have more but a lot came out of it. Wasn't sure f there was replacements for it or what!
