I just bought a 2010 Ford F-350 XLT. The only damage on the truck is on the passenger airbag cover. It has a lot of black marks that will not come off. My plan is to repaint this cover. I called the ford dealership and they were not able to help me with the color. Anyone have any advice as to how to get the color matched up.
Look at SEM products as that is the only thing I will use inside the cab.
You have to wash the area 3 times with soap & water and dry well.
I also use their spray on promoter to help it stick then the dye.
Your local car paint supplier should have it or be able to get it for you.
They might even be able to mix it up for you if you have the equipment to spray with or put it in spray cans.
So check with the local supplier.
That reminds me I need to get more SEM for my truck to color the new visors I got.
