New pool pump is on the way. I got the tint off the front windshield at lunch time and it was pretty easy. Putting in new plugs and wires today. I am also bringing my headlight restore stuff with me and knocking those out if I have time.

Well the plugs and wire job did not go as planned. They had been in forever and the plug boots were literally welded onto the plug. The GM metal heat shield made it a real nightmare to get them off. I worked on getting the boot and shield off for over an hour on just one plug. I ended up breaking the porcelain part of the plug to get it off. I spent 5 hours working on them and got 7 of the 8 replaced. The #8 plug is already a bear to get to and we were getting ready to close up shop, so I will do that one later. Good news is with the other wires and plugs replaced the idle is a lot smoother.

Thought the right rear tire had a nail in it and it has been leaking down since I got it. Dunked the rim in the tire vat at work and I found a crack in the rim, new one order.
New pool pump is on the way.
Had a load of dirt delivered yesterday to go over the pipe in the driveway. Had a little erosion problem around the drainage pipe I had to address too. A guy from down the road that has a bunch of rocks they pulled out of a hay field he said I can have for free, just have to go get them. This summer I need to get a couple of loads of gravel and hopefully that will fix the driveway for a while.

No car work yesterday, we went and saw the daughter and son in-laws new house. The wife helped them move but I had not seen the inside. After Saturdays fiasco with the plugs I needed a break.

Sanded and polished the headlight lenses yesterday during lunch, huge difference! They look almost new.
New pool pump will arrive today.
Not sure of my mechanic can help me drop the transmission this weekend, if he can't I will install the new differential bushings.
