Need some good tape

Hi,
My snowblower punched a side window out of my van. I'm probably going to scrap it, but I don't want the rain and snow pouring in.

I used some duct tape to cover it with cardboard and plastic, but I'd like something quite a bit better for the wet and cold.

Thanks,
hj

I've used Gorilla tape for similar temporary repairs---one of those lasting a full two years before the vehicle owner sold it.

That's some goooooooooooooood stuff!

It is a bit pricey, but it's as good as advertised. I backed into a 6' fiberglass stepladder a few years ago on a job site and split the u-channel about 8". I hated to throw a $40 ladder away so I bought a $6 roll of Flex Tape to try and salvage the ladder. I was skeptical about putting my weight on it, but it held fast and 5 years later the ladder is still going strong. When something actually works, it should be shared!

Not a recommended repair method, but hold my beer.
