HELP!
I have a 2004 F-250 6.0. I started the truck and started driving down the road. Noticed that the power seemed to be less. Started up a small Hill and ended up flooring the petal but was still slowing. Pulled over and put it into park. Tried revving the engine and bearing got the tachometer to move. Went to put it into park and it died. I tried to restart and it would crank but not start. I ended up towing it home. Went out the next day and the truck was dead. Tested the batteries and had a bad battery. I replaced both batteries and plugged the truck in. Went to start it after the truck warmed up and it cranked for a while and then fired up but was week. Still have no throttle response. No blue smoke coming from the tailpipe. I got under the hood with the truck idling. I noticed a humming/whining sound coming from under the passenger side cover. I dont know a lot about diesel's. I need help troubleshooting it.
