Small block water pump question

Small block water pump question
So I'm building a 289 that has A passenger side inlet. But I've seen other small blocks with driver side. My radiator is good, but was used before with 351c. (Driver side inlet). Can I just buy a driver side pump so I can use my radiator or is there weird no no's about that? Thanks in advance
