1978/1979 Explorer options
Bought a 78 f350 explorer super cab. It is delete of all trim but rocker guards and wheel arch moldings. Looking through the 1978 Explorer pamphlet from Ford, the explorer could be ordered with either narrow or wide upper bodyside moldings. It said if it had the lower bodyside moldings, it would be delete of the explorer stripes. Does anybody have a picture of an Explorer with upper wide and lower racetrack moldings? Does it still have the explorer nameplate? Also, these come in custom and ranger badges. Do they have xlt and lariat also?
I know, a lot of questions but, If I put on full bodyside moldings I am curious about the explorer nameplate with xlt/larait badges.

Otherwise, since it has a hood ornament, i intend to put all my lariat stuff on and switch to the red hood ornament.
But, I would like to keep the Explorer badge if it would be proper.
