01 regular cab f150 xlt. For a few months now, every now and then, all the windows will get wet on inside of cab while in driveway overnight. I made sure all windows were closed completely. Anyone else have this weird problem or have an idea of what's going on?
There are quite a few ways to get that much moisture inside the cab.
You could be bringing it in with you (snow, rain, etc.).
Was coffee, water, soda, tea, etc. spilled in the cab?
How long did it sit? Moist can seep in and build up.
From inside the cab, check the top of the rear window for signs of moisture or staining. This a problem area especially if you have a sliding read window.
Speaking of sliding rear windows, check all around (and below) it for moisture or staining.
Check the floorboard under the glove box. The heater core could be leaking.
There are lots of ways for moisture to get in the cab. These are just a few.
Thanks. I do have sliding back window. Truck is a weekend driver,so it sits for periods. There is a great deal of wetness on all windows. I will check for leaks around rear window.
I had the same problem, went to Lowes and bought a closet dehumidifier. Placed it under my seat with zero problems since. $5 fix for me.
Sure, but if OP has either a front of rear leaking windshield/window, that’s not gonna help. The windshield leak usually drains down on the GEM module. Bad news.
That aside, the humidity from my leaks has been from the rear leaking. A new shot of butyl tape cures that. But, the whole creature has to be removed.
