Anyone out there familiar with the high boy &(75) F250 a/c bracket hook up. My pump pulley off about 1/4 inch and I need to know if there is a spacer that goes bfetween the large bracket that holds the idler pulley and the power steering bracket. There is quite a bit of space there on the top power steering bracket. Is there a picture anywhere I could look at.
Thanks,
Thanks, these pictures help some. I dismantled my truck 7 years ago and am just now putting it back together. I don't remember my 75 having a idle pulley under the a/c pump as shown in the picture. How do it mount to the motor or what bracket, etc. Also the picture looks a little off on the pump to the idle pulley to the water pump, maybe its suppose to be off a little. Does the top idle pulley bracket bolt direct to the water pump and he alternator and power steering brackets bolt on top of it. Wish I had some parts trucks. I need a crank pulley D3TE6312 AB also.
Did you have any issues lining up the compressor clutch pulley with the other pulleys. All mine line up ok except the clutch pulley which is back about 1/4 inch and no way to move it forward. The clutch pulley won't line with the idler pulley when compressor bolted to bracket. Any help appreciated, and let me know on other parts.
Thanks
I finally found the correct pulley/clutch. The 73-75 F250 a/c takes a different pulley. None of the Four Seasons pulleys will work. I found the NOS pulley from Ford and it works great in lining up.
Thanks.
Paul
Mine looks same as pictures in this post back on 12/16/19 with York type compressor and new Ford clutch assembly! Is that picture you want or of the sanden set up by dwirth.
I did the Sanden compressor conversion. I didn't like the compressor not tying to the bracket like the original set up so I fabricated a bracket that bolted the compressor to the idler bracket.
