parking brake stuck
my 2004 Escape's parking brake was left on for a long time since the vehicle was not being driven. It is stuck. I tried the forward and reverse trick and did not work. suggestions would be great

Spray the actual brake on the wheel with brake cleaner, then spray everything liberally with PB Blaster or WD40 - from the pedal mechanism all the way back to the brake pad.
