Need to know

I have a 2015 extended cab, I need to know if an 2006 door will fit my truck.. anyone?

Can’t answer your question, but usually if you go to a vendor’s website, they will match parts to your vehicle, so just look for the door you want and see if you get the same result for both years

car-parts.com You can enter your vin and then look for the parts. Most vendors show the years their parts came from and you can determine from there. FWIW, I doubt a 06 door will work but you never know...

Appears the outer skin is the same but the door shell is not. Why it is not the same might be some hole differences for mounting items.

the difference is in how the window lift mounts into frame. It is able to be worked around with a drill and grinder to open up a slot in upper inner frame rail.(you’ll see difference when you have both door panels off).... or if you plan to use all the ‘inner’ hardware/glass from the 06 door, should not be a problem.
