Try sealight with the right angle connector. There are similar in size to the factory bulb and the led is in the same position as the filament in a halogen bulb. My buddy tried the ones with the cylindrical base and couldn't get then to fit properly so ordered a set of three sealights and they fit. Happy as a pig in do do. I have factory LEDs in mine.
I tried the Headlight Revolution SV.4 LED (Low Beam). I could not get them to fit. No matter how I try, I can not get the three locking tabs to fully insert into the housing so I can twist lock it in. They seem to be too big to fit. The back of the bulb has a much bigger diameter than the OEM and it hits the headlight housing preventing it from going in straight and thereby preventing the three locking tabs from fully inserting. I will send them back and hopefully they will give me a full refund.
We put in the CSP Mini. Almost double the light output, they fit without any modifications whatsoever, and mimic the shape, size and position of a standard halogen bulb. As a bonus, they use about 1/3 the power, so they run very cool. The resulting light output has a very sharp cut-off, so you can see there is minimum glare. The light is also much whiter than you get with halogen, so we like the visibility they provide.

Man, I give up. Tried the Headlight Revolution SV.4 LED (Low Beam), no matter how I tried I could not get them to align in and twist lock in place. Sent them back and tried the GTR CSP Mini also from Headlight Revolution. Tried to install today. Again no matter how I tried they would not align and pop in. I feel that if I took out the whole headlight assembly out I could probably get them in, but what a pain. I don't want to damage my headlight fixture so I give up. Damn what a pain. Guess I will live with sucky lowbeams.

Have you tried adjusting them as was suggested? Also, there are numerous legit companies that make aftermarket LED bulbs that fit. You might try using one of them instead of going the 'cheap' route.

Or get some better aftermarket “halogen” bulbs such as PIAA.
The GTR CSP Mini (formerly known as "PerfectFit") went in exactly as they described for us. I did the driver's side by removing the entire assembly, and although it took a bit more time, I found actually doing the replacement a piece of cake. On the passenger side I tried doing it "the easy way" by pulling back the wheel well liner and it was a massive PITA. I just could not get my big, fat hands up into that tiny space and twist the bulb in. I eventually got it in, but if I need to replace the bulbs again, I'm just going to pop out the entire headlight assembly like I did on the driver's side.
Here's a video doing a comparison of some of the more popular bulbs. Comparisons like these seem very helpful. I'm a fan of diode dynamics, but their F150 bulb just doesn't seem up to par with the competition.
This may be the way to go. I was going to buy some new SE housings, then out LEDs in them. Then I just discovered these new lights from Morimoto. This is a little less expensive than what I was planning.
Both of the bulbs I tried and that didn't work for me were from HeadLight Revolution. The first pair was $170 the second pair was $130. I could get neither pair to fit, even though they were recommended to fit by HR. I do think they may have fit if I took out the whole headlight assembly and maybe used a dremmel in one tight spot. Working from the wheel well, I was worried I would damage the locking ears on the headlight assembly. Anyways, I am happy with the "easy headlight mod"
I think it’s sad that companies who sell replacement assemblies and bulbs for F150’s don’t disclose all of the “possible” fitment issues or at least, put an asterisk* of possible problems on their website.
With all of the problems people had or are having, there’s no way that the sellers didn’t know about said problems beforehand.
